Quick tip for Maschine Jam midi template creation

if you are an individual who creates templates for DAW's or applications in general its good practice to have your Maschine Jam assigned to Maschine Jam - 2 or -3 or -4 within the controller editor…

the reason for this is maschine Jam - 1 tends to make itself a virtual port on bootup, which is sometimes unseen by other midi applications,

whats odd about this is if you connect and reconnect sometimes maschine jam can switch between virtual port to a actual Maschine Jam midi port(which is considered by some applications as a different device, thus your mappings will seemingly not work)

if you've ever done any midi mapping with the Maschine Jam, you will understand what i mean, just something you need to be aware of

for this reason, it pays to assign the controller, to maschine Jam - 2 or 3 or 4 in the controller editor …. so that it is always recognised
