hi I can't set the outpu monitor headphone to the traktor pro 3; I am using a dj control compat Hercules when I am outside. Anybody has a solution?
Does the dj control compat Hercules have a build in audio interface?
The M-Audio M-Track Solo is only a 2 channel interface. If master and monitor you need 4 channels. Two stereo signals.
A used Traktor z1 can be had for around 100 EUR sometimes and has 4 channels.
Or you can use the traktor dj cable. You only get mono that way, but it's small and cheap.
Or look around for any soundcard with 4 output channels that allow you to listen to two of them via headphones.

using this little sound card I can have the pre listening in headphones; if I try with an M-Audio M-Track Solo sound card I can't do it
Which Audio interface are you using? I see you are using the headphones as output for the speaker too
… the Dj Dontrol Compact doesn't have a proper audio card built in; an external audio card is necessary to use headphones and pre listening; now I am using a very cheap sound card bought on line ( the one in the picture here on the post)
and I am searching one better to use when I am outside and need to play ;)
Any suggestions to buy a good product quality/price?
