Hi,

I just installed GR7 but, unlike with other amp sims, I have issues selecting In/Out and Devices (see first two screenshots) compared to other amp sims (screenshots three and four). What should I do?

Thanks

How do you plug your guitar to the computer? What interfcae are you using in the first place? Guitar Rig requires an audio interface with an input and an output.

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m overseas at the moment and don’t have my interface with me. So I simply plug the guitar on the 3.5mm plug of my old MacBook Pro and use a portable usb dac as output. It works with all my other amp sims (Amplitube, Kuassa, Tonebridge ecc…) but GR7…..

So yeah that's what I meant. Guitar Rig will only accept one same audio interface that has an input and an output. If you plug your guitar to the 3.5mm plug of the Macbook, that's 1 interface, the portable USB is another interface. So for Guitar rIg you will need to create an aggregate device: How to Create an Aggregate Device (macOS)

    Oh ok, new issue.

Please make sure to give full disk access to Native Access and the NTK Daemon: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS More info here: Native Access Freezes on “Installing Dependencies“ at Startup

If that doesn't work, try this:

Please navigate to the following directory:

Macintosh HD > Users > Shared

In there, please rename the "Native Instruments" folder to "_Native Instruments"

Could you please check if Native Access opens up correctly now if you right-click it and select "open"?
