Hi everyone, I installed traktor pro4 and while I'm working with my s8 console it freezes and the program closes automatically..also some folders don't open on the s8 screens...who can help me?
Yeah I just upgraded to 4 recently and find it lagging A LOT. It's very buggy, but the music isn't stopping or skipping for me, expect playing 24Bit files it likes to play a bunch of skips and artifacts that are not in the file.
Search really drags to load, and whenever I move tracks into a playlist, all my collapsed playlists open again. It's very annoying. Just like how support seems to have been moved to an AI chat bot rather than a real portal to report problems.

I have a ticket on NI...think its the power it needs not correct in pro4.
Buggy stems *no stems, just flushing. and flexible beatgrids (not saving)
Had my first skip of audio while trying to browser the library. Really wish these issues would be address and resolved.
Just bumping this thread again. There are a lot more 24bit releases coming out, and the skips, and scratches in Traktor with 24bit file is getting REALLY annoying.
I'm having the issue that some folders won't open on my S8. As soon as I press the browser button, I get a blank black screen.
Bumping this thread — at this time it Traktor Pro 4 + S8 controller is simply unusable, let alone playing live. NI you need to come to town ASAP.
Anyone figure anything out to make it not lag? I have been having issues for some time.
If I reset windows and re-install traktor, it works great. Until I analyze the library, then it sucks again.
spent weeks on the support tennis,with TP4 randomly freezing reinstalled windows 11 not latency issues ran latency software with 4 decks all in the green, and removed programs they claim affect it, still freezing .. brand new laptop, and still cant fix it… i have mentioned all over forums people are complaining about freezing not once did they say it was TP4 even people with Macs are complaining, so now i am left i cant work as a dj because their software does not work and they can't fix it … and it is not for for purpose, and i have spent over 8k and there products over the years…. so i am left with no fix …. and frankly they don't seem to care…
