How do I delete a thumbnail from Kontakt 7 Library

I've been trying, night and day, to remove the "Aviram Harp Guitar0" thumbnail shown below (top pic). When I navigate to the "import Content" menu (bottom pic) to remove the folder linked to the thumbnail which would also remove the thumbnail, it isn't listed. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks!

I am not sure that what you are looking at is actually a 'thumbnail' , but maybe an in place picture provided by Kontakt instead of the thumbnail that is actually missing.

If the whole "Aviram Harp Guitar0" has been removed then what remains to have to be done might be a removal of the entry from the Kontakt database which, unless there exists some Kontakt DB entry editor, might require a full reset of the Kontakt database. A reset might only remove the entry if other references have been removed , and I can't guarantee that a Kontakt DB resets can not incur any other annoyance or mishap for you. (I have not been doing many resets my self though many other users have reset the DB)

Anyway , my guess is that one of the following 'procedures' ought to work : reinitialize the KONTAKT Database , Thumbnail Picture Icons are Missing in the KONTAKT 7 Browser

Did you delete the files from all location on hard drive that you have kontakt read from before the database reset ? A database reset will not work if you reset database and Kontakt just reads the data again ! instead of deleting the library you can just move to another location outside of all the Kontakt read areas (including must delete or move away from the Documents folder that Kontakt might also read from if you saved something).

Interesting. The only thing I can think of would be to add that library if you know it's location so you could then remove it. Obviously it was added at some point but maybe manually removed?

Alternatively you could do a batch resave and it might resolve it on it's own. That seems like a lot for one messed up folder though.

Thanks for the suggestions PoorFellow. However this didn't resolve my issue. Thanks again!

It’s not really an icon that can be removed because it’s more of a placeholder for a library you must have installed then deleted incompletely.

When you select the icon what do you see in the browser on the right?

    Hi Kymeia,

I agree regarding the incomplete library deletion. When the icon is selected, the browser displays the associated library (see below). Since I will no longer use this library, it would nice to get rid of all references to it altogether. Any additional suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

    Thanks again!

If you delete the instruments shown on the right that might be a start
