Is it possible to CC7 automate the volume sliders in Kontakt?

Dear Matt Lara or ANYONE!!

These things….

I ask, because Kontakt's got a bug in it (yes, this IS a bug!) which nobody's ever addressed. If you setup a multi/combi (by which I mean several instruments melded into One Combined Sound) and then try to change its volume from your DAW via CC7, it applies the change to EACH INSTRUMENT INDIVIDUALLY, not to the combined sound (checkout the Korg M1 plugin for examples on how to do it properly, ALL its sounds are combis and it uses volume perfectly!) Now the obvious answer to this is to automate the volume sliders with CC7, using MIDI Learn.

Except as far as I can find out, you can't DO it! Those utterly useless volume sliders in the picture are immovable by any form of automation I know. Please, is there a way to make them slide up and down using CC7 or any other CC, or similar, command? Just so if I setup a combi/multi, I can then turn the WHOLE COMBINED SOUND up and down using CC7, not have the amount applied to individual sounds thus destroying the balance of the combi/multi?

If you know of a way to do it that I've missed, feel free to call me an idiot and show me - I'll be totally agreeing with you on that one!

Yours respectfully

Chris.

Hey Chris, unfortunately there's no way to assign or automate these sliders. You would need to open these multiple outputs in your DAW and automate the volume of the tracks in there.
