Gridding in Traktor Pro 4
I bought Pro 4 and I'm really excited about it, but unfortunately I have the feeling that the gridding has gotten worse.
As soon as I need 2 grid markers, the first one is placed correctly on the first beat of the song, but the BPM is changed in the decimal range, so that the grid is quickly out of place.
With the second and all further markers, everything is usually recognized correctly.
Example:
A song that has 121 BPM throughout, but due to the buildup the drop is no longer exactly on the grid. Only one marker - 121 BPM is recognized. The second is placed on the drop - from then on 121 BPM and everything before the drop is suddenly 120.94.
And if you want to set it back to 121, it always jumps back to 120.94.
What's going on there? And why can I no longer tap the BPM after the second marker has been set?
PS: I have already heard from many others that they are experiencing the same problem. So it would be great if there was a solution soon.
Thank you very much.

Why do you need to set a second grid marker if the song throughout is 121 bpm?
The grid between two markers is evenly spaced out. That is why you can't enter the exact number you want, it does not fit. You would need to move one of the grid markers to change the bpm.
The only limitation with the new system is they you currently can't change the downbeat "the one" mid track. They are working on it. And tap.

Ok, I understand, in this example it would simply help to place "the one" (as it used to be) correctly on the drop.
But the fact that it is split evenly makes very little sense for other songs.
Example:
Song starts at 115 BPM, goes up to 150 BPM in the middle and then ends at 115 BPM again.
So I have set 3 grid parts. The 150 in the middle and the 115 at the end are taken, but the 115 at the beginning automatically becomes 115.89. And that's just not right, so unfortunately it doesn't help.0 -
Make sure you set the beat marker on the beat. If in doubt you can set even more.
You can't have grid sections with half a beat. In that case you might need to add a grid marker one bar before that change, and then have a single uneven bar section.
