Can‘t Update to Traktor 4.02

The system can‘t find a previous installation when running the update installer

I am running on Traktor 4.0.0 since the release

What do you mean by update installer? Do you mean native access? Are you using the latest version of Native Access?

Normally each Traktor version is a separate installation and when you start it for the first time you can import your stuff from the old version.

For example, under Windows every Traktor version is in the documents folder, Native Instruments, respective Traktor version.

I can find the data of 4.0.0 and the previous version in the documents folder.
I know about these files.

The circumstances:
Installation via native access doesn´t work on my system since the latest 5(?) updates.
Therfore i use the Update "….setup.exe" file which Native acess has downloaded or get this file from the support.
This works since the last updates.
But now the system can‘t find a previous installation when running this "update installer"
