Traktor Pro 4 mapped / network drive

I've a large music collection and to keep it backup it's on a NAS drive with RAID for redundency.

For years I've been able to map my network drive and Traktor has been happy to work with my music as usual, with some delay when loading tracks but not an issue for the home dj like myself.

Since Traktor 4 I can't access mapped drives, they appear in the explorer, but don't allow me to open any sub folders or see any music files.

No recent changes to my network, I can go back to Traktor 3 and it works fine.

Has anyone else managed to get a mapped drive working in Traktor 4 ?

Thanks,

Phil

I think the problem has already been mentioned here and is known.

Why do you want to use your backup files remotely instead of the local original file?

Thanks for letting me know, do you have a link to post that mentioned this please?

I work with the original files but keep them on a NAS drive because the collection is so large. The NAS is in a RAID configuration so I have reducdency and will hopefully never loose my collection.

I don't want to copy files locally from the drive as I often modifiy the file meta data like BPM or rating and I don't want to have to remember to copy this back or have to consider merging if both files have changed.
