BPM adjust vs Nudge MIDI in for encoder

I’m having some weird behaviour with the BPM adjust MIDI in command. While gridding and trying to use it to adjust the bpm of a certain part, it seems to adjust the bpm of the whole song instead of the segment.

The BPM nudge MIDI command works as it should…

I’m trying to map an encoder knob to make large changes in bpm of segments while I’m beat gridding. BPM nudge is too slow on its max settings of sensitivity and acceleration. I though BPM adjust was the right MIDI command for this but it seems to just adjust the bpm in your library, not make changes to the track grid…

any help would be appreciated!

I was having a similar issue with tp4. BPM adjust command does not work but BPM nudge does work, however with very small increments, which doesn't help. have you been able to resolve the issue?
