Mk3 s88 MacBook firmware problems

Hi all

Been moving things around and haven’t got around to connecting my S88 mk3 to my Makbook pro until just now (not had the midi template update )

I turn it on and it says

I go there and it says

I’m sure I’ll work out a fix in the next few mins, but come on NI, this just looks so bad, this is the 3rd update I’ve needed to do since purchasing (previous two on windows) and it’s the third time ****** like this has happened

It just looks so amateurish, I shouldn't have needed to work this out

It appears to be updating fine, yay will come back later and confirm it completed as needed elsewhere

Now successfully on firmware 1.7.6. I presume that's correct, have to dash out and can't test

I am quite confused.

ni.de/kontrol-update works fine for me - it directs immediately to the download

I tried it about 10 times, your site was very very slow at the time, even browsing this forum, clicking on a post, the post took forever to load, a few times I reloaded the page as it appeared to be hung, at the same time I opened a couple of other sites and they all opened instantly.

I’ve just tried it and sure enough, as you say, it’s taken me to the right place, but at around 19:10 UK time, it didn’t.

Maybe because your site was so slow it caused the particular page to time out?
