I've spent several hours generating stems on the new Traktor 4 and none of them are staying once I close the program down and reopen.

Please help

Mm okay interesting, I think the best would be to contact support so they can have a look in your computer. I created a ticket for you.

Everything is being saved under tractor/stems folder. And then it created 127 folders with stems but no names and no way to associate them to the actual artist. Unless I go and rename every stem. Which if that’s the case I want a refund

Generated Stems in Traktor Pro 4 are not intended to be loaded from the folder they are stored into.
The unconventional folder and filenames of generated Stems serve for fast association with their original file.

Once generated, the Stem versions of your tracks are loaded via alternative loading commands applied to the original file on your hardware and software.
By default, once there is a Stem version drag-drop via mouse or push-load the original track on your Traktor controller will load the Stem version.
You can change this behaviour to shift-drag-drop and double-push-load in the Loading preferences.

    Enjoy!

    Heyo!

Did you had any of your tracks in your internal HD or external?

This can happen when you dont save your collections inside your internal HD, can you try to save a collection in your internal HD, generate stems and save it? Lets see if it reacts the same

I’ll see what I can do.

I did find a whole bunch of stems in the Native/stems folder. But none are actually labeled correctly. They have random numbers and letters. But the are the stems I spent hours generating.

That’s not what you’re referring to are you?

I meant saving some tracks in a playlist inside your computer, make it stems and see if they stay. @DjRozwel

yeah. They are being saved. But like I said before. They are being saved under long characters that are not the song titles.

Same issue here, I've tried saving on my internal HD but doesn't work still. I use an external HD for my music and stems because the sizes of the stems per track get to be big on storage.

I guess even opening a ticket doesn’t help. At least here I was getting a response back. But tech has now ghosted me. So at this point maybe I should be asking for a refund.
