No sounds from new mk3

Today I tried to install my new mk3 keyboard.

Because my computer has no USB C port, it seems to be difficult. First the display showed "low power". I had a power supply with both USB C and A. I used a cable with USB A on the power supply and USB C on the keyboard. That doesn't work. So I changed the cable to USB C on both ends and it worked. With my poor technical know how I cannot understand this.

The computer is connected to the keyboard using an USB C cable on the keyboard and USB A on my computer.

I can control the application with the keyboard, but I don't get a sound playing the keyboard.

In Komplete the keyboard is detected as controller.

Is it due to the cable, too?

Has anyone an idea?

Native: This is no good solution only supporting USB C and the description is very poor.

Do you have the MK3 Audio output defined correctly in your DAW or Kontakt 7 or Komplete Kontrol? The power cable has nothing to do with the sound output. That's all through the Audio output device assigned in your sofware.

Thanks. Yes, audio in- and output are defined.

Native recommends to use the provided cable for computer Connection. I used a C to A cable, because I don't have a Adapter C to A.

You do realise the keyboard does not produce sounds in itself, you need to load Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt or open a DAW and use it with plugin instruments?
