Dear team,

I face the following issue. I have installed traktor pro 3 to my old MAC and I have my music folders on the root of the hard drive of the mac. Since I got a new one MacOS Sonoma does not let me copy anything on the root folder of the Mac.

At the moment I have my music files on /users/<username>/Music/Traktor/Music folder.

How can I change this on my playlists from the root folder to the one I mentioned above?

Is there any way I can edit the colletion.nml file and change just the location folder?

Best regards,

First of all, make a backup of your collections.nml

Then I would change the music folder inside the settings.

I assume you already imported the old collection to your new computer? If yes, I would run the consitency check and then press relocate.

Read the "Relocating your Tracks" part.

    Hello,

Thanks for your so quick answer it is much appreciated. I have run the consistency check plus the relocate, but every time I choose a song it says the file is either corrupted or deleted. When I try to do it manually for a song then it asks me if I want to merge it. I have tried the most of the solutions I have read on the net but with no luck.

Just to mention that the new Macbook runs Traktor Pro 4.

Do you know anything else you could suggest and I could try?

I assume the consistency check finds a lot of "missing tracks"? And after "relocate" if you run consistency check it find them again?

Yes correct the same nunber of missing tracks is found again after the consistency check. Then, I try to load any other track to deck and says either it is deleted or corrupted
