why does it take so long to load sunburst

Takes too long to load sunburst, I had some stuttering too when playing a preset. Any ideas why this is? Do I need new OS for Mac or is Ventura enough?

    Loading and stuttering etc - is usually disk IO or CPU or both.

    What Mac do you have?

    2017 IMAC with 32 gig ram and 2 TB hardrive

    @Sheepdog What version of Kontakt are you using? Is it slow to load in Kontakt in standalone? In your DAW? Both? what DAW is it? Does it happen for other Kontakt instruments? Where is the library installed, on an external hard drive? What's the format of the drive?
