Storage questions
I have been trying to do this whole production thing from absolute drawing board, I’m very skilled in Brass Instruments, but I have enough knowledge in guitar and piano to have chose doing it, anyway, is it worth it to just get an SSD with SATA-USB? As far as over all decision on storage I’m either gonna buy a 1TB SD Card, but I feel like with the amount cooking you end up doing when you first get a Maschine/Machine like this , its ALOT MORE THAN USUAL,the Amount of Creation and its quality of original conception without multiple takes. So instead I have a couple small l-size 1TB and 2-TB Solid state drives. It’s cheaper and a lot of storage very visual, I won’t lose them in other words. Is this going to work with my Plus? Jw

M+ uses the sd card to store recordings and projects. You can put samples, presets, etc. on a USB drive if you want, but your projects and samples you record go on the SD card. You cannot change it.
Buy a big, fast SD card. Consider adding a USB drive if you're the type that needs a huge sample library and don't want to use expansions
