Can I record midi chords in chord mode without all this routing ?

I used to use chord mode on Maschine and the midi recorded was the actual chords and not the single midi note I was playing. Now, I've tried to record chords in chord mode on the kontrol mk3 and just the single midi note is being sent to the track to be recorded in ableton. I've searched the internet and all it seems to exist is workarounds creating another midi channel and routing etc etc… Don't komplete have an option to send out all the actual midi notes on the chord instead of the only one note that's being played ?

Some new features will come for the MK3 keyboard this year, including standalone play assist features. Until then, if your DAW allows it, you'll have to set it up like that: Ableton Live Guide: Sending MIDI from the Komplete Kontrol Plug-in

You have to use the vST3 version of Komplete Kontrol to achieve that.

Thank you Jeremy, I hope NI fix this asap. It's the first time a NI product didn't work better than expected for me. We see the marketing videos of kontrol mk3 play assist working and specially coming from maschine we think like, oh, this will actually work simple and fast like expected and advertised, just to realize it wont. And it's the simplest basic things. Like expecting that a NI hardware will work into a NI daw as it works on other daws just to realize it won't. Or a midi controller having an option to choose one of the 16 midi channels on a legacy midi output. I'm an old NI customer and never got this experience, everything always worked even better than expected so I still trust this was an exception and since it's all software wise it can be fixed. Thank you for listening.
