For the past two weeks I have been warring with guitar rig 6 player and guitar rig 5 pro in my ableton live 11. I deleted and redownloaded about a thousand times it feels like. Searched through the internet for a solution and I have found nothing on resolving my problem. It gotten so bad that I created this account as a hail marry to find a solution. Both software's I can use fine outside my daw, but when I try to use them in my DAW they either appear and when I click on it says "vst cannot be found please reenable".Or for guitar rig pro 5 just doesn't appear at all. I have been using ableton's guitar simulator but it's not as good as guitar rig pro 5. Please help

This is because GR5 is a VST2. You need to reconfigure Ableton tell it exactly where your VST2's are being installed.

If you look into Native Access→Preferences→File Management - you will see that NI thinks it is cool to install all their plugins in a VERY non-standard locations.

You either need to make this location standard (C:\Program Files\VST Plugins) like the rest of the known world OR repoint Ableton.
