strummed acoustic 2 plays back before the one

If I have this instrument playing on measure one and I hit record in logic, before logic hits the one from the count in, strummed acoustic 2 starts playing back in time around an 8th note beforehand.

I'm using the folk c in the folk preset. Timing can be all over the place. Anyone else experienced this. Sync to key just makes it worse.. Midi notes are quantized. I'm just scratching my head here because finishing this song is almost impossible with this weirdness.

Hey John, could you recreate the issue in a small Logic project, zip it and post it in here? As well as a video, this way we can quickly check for a repro.
