I'm new to digital mixing and Traktor and want to make the most of my Xone 92 so I bought a few toys to play with.
Set up is like that:
- xone 92
- Traktor Audio 10
- Traktor F1
- 2 x Traktor X1 MK1
- MacBookPro Intel Core I7 2.3 GHz (OS Sonoma 14.3.1)
- Traktor Pro 3
I think I'm OK with the cables routing. Or at least so far I have 4 decks on TP3 playing on 4 channels of the Xone.
My question are with the configuration of the hardware in Traktor Pro, I can't figure how to get the hardware to control the decks.
My understanding is the F1s should be no problem with my OS but I might run into issues with the X1s being they're 1st gen.
1st) is my problem with X1s due to drivers or firmware or both and is there a patch to download somewhere that would help Mac and TP3 recognise the controllers or am I doomed by its obsolescence?
2nd) is there some tutorials to assist me with the configuration of all the hardware in TP3? I've seen a few Youtube videos but I'm starting to get more confused that when I started and the "install wizard" wasn't much help with such a set up.
I understand these are complicated issues to solve and appreciates all the help I can get.
If this subject is already covered here I apologise, I did do a few searches but wasn't all that successful in finding what I need.
