guitar rig stand alone effects

it was a good idea to release these effects as stand alone as sometimes guitar rig is just over kill and bloat when the user just wants one simple effect. i hope to see more such as the noise machine, harmonic synthesizer and some of the distortions

I agree. Although I see Guitar Rig as kind of a channel strip tool, not exclusively for guitar. The name is just a bit unfortunate. Though, you don't always need a channel strip to solve a problem. Sometimes you just need one ow two plugins.

That's where releasing the modules as individual plugins becomes a good idea. I hope they have more on the way.

likewise, i dont use it for guitar so the amps and cabs dont really get much use from me, however, the distortions and effects are great.
