Session Horns - Forte Piano 4 beats

Hey everyone, I need some help troubleshooting my session horns. I'm working on a song that has a tempo of 142bpm. I want the fp 4beat performance to hold a note longer than 4 beats. I have tried changing the tempo to 71bpm which theoretically should make the note hold twice as long, but my software isn't responding the tempo change at all. Regardless of what I change, wether it's the tempo in the actual session or the tempo in the plugin it always holds for the same amount of time.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?
