Kontakt 7 update issue

Hi everyone,

Since I have Native Access 2, I am not able to access to Kontakt 7 anymore.

When I tried to use the "Repair" function and try to relocate the app, it does not work as Kontakt 7 totally disappeard from my computer.

And when I try to reinstall it, it does not work neither. Either I got the error message "Installation failed".

I tried to reinstall it with Native Access 1 but nothing is happening. It is says that it is installed but I can't find Kontakt 7 anywhere installed on my computer and when I restart Native Access the product is again in the uninstalled products….

I spent hours and hours to find a solution without any success, it is so frustrating….

Would someone please have a solution ?

Hello, thank you very much for your comment. I try already but unfortunately this does not work. Only Kontakt and Kontakt application are on the list, and not Kontakt 7…or should I have to delete one of those 2 ? However, I don't want to have issues with Kontakt that works well…

that´s a good question, kontakt without a version number was kontakt 6, but i guess that´s not the case for the regcleantool. Do you own kontakt 6 and this works, so you don´t want to mess it up with the regtool? Have you started native access as administrator, just right click the icon select properties, compatibility and set "start program as admin" or something like that - save

I will mark @Jeremy_NI maybe he knows about the reg tool, or knows someone who knows……..maybe kontakt install file or iso would help

indeed I own Kontakt 6 and it worked so far so this is why I did not wanted to mess it up with the regtool. However, I say "it worked" because I had the brillant idea, this afternoon, to update Kontakt 6 too and now I have the same issue as with Kontakt 7: I can't "repair" and relocate the vst as it seems it is no longer on my system and I am not able to reinstall it neither……
