I know tis has been asked before, but wondering if anyone has success in setting up microphone with s2, I have followed all guidlines, from Traktor and Apple,. The lights are showing in the output routing chanel when I speak but there is no sound and music also drops. Any Ideas? Thanks so much .

Hello guys, when I put on the S2 Mk3 I always use a small mixer for the microphone.
    That makes things easier.

Incidentally, I would like to say that handling the S2 MK3, including all sound effects,
cue and sample banks, is very easy and efficient. The crowd doesn't notice any difference to the very expensive "club standard". I can judge the difference because I also perform with my own NXS2 and Traktor. Greetings Nobbi

    Hi Ellen

The fact you've got visible signal on your meters is good. It shows the mic signal is there.

Where are you expecting to get sound? Do you have speakers and/or headphones connected to the S2?

What do you mean by "music also drops"?

Thanks for your response, Im running silent disco headsets with it, I set up an S4 with it last night and micro phone worked no problem.

When Using the s2 with the microphone when I speak into mic there is no music when i stop speaking the music comes back

How does the audio get from the S2 or S4 to the headsets? Presumbly the S2/S4 XLR/RCA outputs are connected to a hardware transmitter box?

The more details you give, the better.

The S4 was used with the same computer, and same mic?

From your description, the S2 does output music to the headsets, the music stops completely (or just ducks?) when you use the mic, but there's no mic audio to the headsets?

Please post screenshots of the Traktor audio config from both the working system (S4) and from the non working setup (S2).

As @PK The DJ mentioned in one post above, does the music stops completely or ducks? I believe its now just a configuration issue.

Thanks for getting back to me. So Ive just tried again and music isnt ducking. I have Mic signal registering when I go to any input chanel and set up mic as opposed to clicking on not connected option(which I have also tried) Is there a way you can send photo of correct configurations?

    Thanks in advance
