Need help with audio

This is likely a silly question. But as a very, very new newcomer to making music, and having just bought Super Audio Cart. How do I get the audio drivers working? I DESPERATELY need help. I've been stuck on audio device settings for so long. I don't know entirely how inputs and outputs work, other then apparently your sound card becoming your audio interface. It either picks up no audio, or my own physical mic either.

Looking up information has made me struggle too. Every suggestion is of the easiest way is needing headphones with a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter to let that become your input. But almost all the ones that have use actual physical equipment, so I'm not sure if it still applies or not.

Editing mistake. I meant the adapter becoming your output. But still, any help is appreciated.

I hope I've understood the issue correctly. Super Audio Cart is a Kontakt instrument, so you'll need to open Kontakt in standalone and select an audio driver. If you don't have a dedicated soundcard, your laptop or computer should have an onboard soundcard. You should select your onboard soundcard for the sound output. No input is needed since this is a software instrument.
