Would it be possible to map signal from Traktor 3 pro to separate channels on DDM4000 with a single device that would also use midi to control Traktor from the DDM4000 and what would that device be? Someone used Numer Dj iO to map the tracks but for midi they used Traktor X1 ..

Would MOTU Audio Express be up to this task?

Thx

What midi signal from the DDM do you want to control Traktor with? Like map some of the buttons to start and stop a deck? Why not add a small midi controller. Would simplify things.

I'm not even sure that will deactivate the base functions. I mean if you map "RECORD IN" on the mixer to something in Traktor, the button on the mixer will surely still execute the normal record in function, no?

An Traktor Audio 8 and Traktor Audio 10 does have midi in/out and enough channels for 4 decks. But the audio 8 does not work on modern MacOS any more.

In the end, any audio device with enough channels and midi will work for the task. But be sure that you actually want to do the midi stuff.

Edit: "MOTU Audio Express" has 6x6 channels so you could use 3 decks. Got midi though.

Edit2: An used Traktor x1 mk2 can be had for below 70 EUR. Then all you need is a soundcard with 8 channels and connect that to the DDM. No need to map anything.
