The Native ecosystem is greatly confusing

I recently started to buy some native hardware and here goes my impression of it so far…

its god damn confusing. Its Native access, kontakt player, kontakt 6 or/AND 7, komplete kontrol, upgrade/crossgrades and after spending thousands of dollars on both hardware and software it often turns out in many cases I STILL dont have the REAL FULL version of something to utilize the full feature. Its extremely annoying. Make it simpler and more clear for new users to your ecosystem to understand please.

One example is when I bought my Kontrol S61 Mk3 it stated: A revolutionary keyboard controller with a comprehensive package of included software featuring Kontakt 7 and a
Kontakt instrument of your choice

But as soon as I try to load an instrument it sais "Kontakt Player" which appearantly is a free version of it.

Would love it if you could post a screen cap of your Native Access window - showing ALL products you are licensed for. Kontakt Full and Kontakt Player will show differently in there.

Thanks for the reply, what I was saying was that I do NOT have the license for Kontakt 7 in my Native Access, but I should have… Cause it sais Kontakt 7 is included on the keyboard product page, but I just got an official response from NI support that it aint… So the information on the website is vauge, at best.

Well - it does not say explicitly say Kontakt Full either.

K (Player) and K (full) are identical code wise. Only separated by a retail serial and authorization.

Player can load ALL the NI products within any version of Komplete end to end without issue so unless you are stepping out into the third party market OR building your own instruments in Kontakt - there is no need for Full.

And Full does retail for $300.00 - it's a bit of a stretch to assume that is included for free when buying a keyboard.
