update Kontakt5 to 7 within a session

Hello - I am working with ~Ableton 12. Todat I opened up an old session that used Kontakt5 for the basses. These refused to open, however if I added a new kontakt track with Kontakt 7, no problem. I want to keep the tonal and instrument changes I made back in version 5, while replacing the old one with Kontakt 7. Or perhaps theres a button top push simply to update the old Kontakt 5 to 7 without messing anything up? not likely,….
If anyone understands this issue, please let me know.
Thanks! Danke!

@duende3000 Kontakt 5 is not supported in native Silicon mode, to run it in Ableton 12 you would need to run Ableton in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta
I assume your old sessions were made on an Intel Mac, so Rosetta mode should be used for these sessions/projetcs.
There is a migration process for older versions of Kontakt for some DAWs, but Ableton does not allow it: Notes about Auto-Migration of Kontakt Versions in DAW Projects
