It's a pity that Sibelius users cannot use some of the most recent releases, like 'Action Strings 2'. Sibelius cannot use Kontakt 7, since it's a VST3 instrument. - Is it possible for NI to make it also VST/VST2 compatible, thus compatible with Kontakt 6?

This might work for you. I havent tried it, but it sounds like what you are looking for.

It's a free utility called vst3shell that allows you to run vst3 plugins in any DAW without vst3 support:

Very simple to use, just unzip the files to your plugins directory and run your daw. Make sure you also run a scan for your vst3 instruments and they should load right up like any normal vst2 plugin.
