Error with Contact player when trying to launch Electric Sunburst Deluxe Melody

Hi All,

I just downloaded the Electric Sunburst Deluxe. The (Melody) file won't open and I'm getting an error saying I need to update Kontakt. I have Kontakt Player 7 and the manual states all I need is the latest version of 6 or more (can't recall the exact version number but it was in 6). Any ideas what could be causing this error? is there a new patch I have to download and if so, how can I access it?

Are you able to load the instrument in Kontakt 7 Player? If it's not the case, what version of Kontakt 7 have you installed? If you open Kontakt 7 in standalone, can you open the instrument? Is it only in your DAW?

If you can but you would prefer to use Kontakt 6 for some reason, then, yes, the library was updated and now requires Kontakt 7.6 but you can find the installer for the previous version here:
