Hey guys I have been an avid traktor supporter since the early days but my old Kontrol z2 has finally given up the will to live so I have replaced it with a Xone 43c

It seems to be working lovely in DVS mode and the quality of sound is incredible……however, when I press the cue button on decks 3 is sets a 4-bar loop of on deck 2! Can you help?

Also the xone hasn’t got things like buttons to trigger loops and select tracks ect so I wondered if there is something I could buy that would could work

As the Xone:43C is capable of sending MIDI you must have a mapping installed which uses the same MIDI channel as your Xone. By default this is MIDI channel 16. If not needed you can remove this mapping in your Traktor settings. If you have a controller that needs this mapping change the MIDI channel of your Xone. You find instructions for this from page 21 in the manual.

For Traktor Pro the natural choice for an add-on controller is the Traktor X1 Mk3. It has controls for cue points, loops, track browser, effects and some more for 2 decks in Traktor. The X1 will work with Traktor out of the box as it is from Native Instruments. The older version Kontrol X1 Mk2 should do as addon for DVS if you can find it anywhere for a good price. Use two of the Mk2s in my setup at home (so I can control all 4 decks within Traktor, for 2 decks one of them is sufficient).

Check if any of your mappings is assign to all incoming midi signals.
