Is it worth buying Traktor?

This is a history of my experience of Traktor since first launch away back in the day….

I have been using Traktor for probably close to 20 years or there about.. without much issues, I have been a DJ since 1997 working from functions moving to pubs and then clubs and Traktor has always been faithful….until now!!!!!

I semi retired about 2 years ago and never really used my original S4 mk1 on windows 7 which worked fantastic (99% of the Time) …. but then I had the buzz again and decided to upgrade Oct 23 .

I purchased a S4 mk3 and thought can't wait to mix again ….. oh my was I wrong…….

Had issues right away with flashing lights after 30 mins(crashed)

contacted native instruments and they told me to go back to an older version of Traktor pro 3 which I did …… no change(crashed)

looked in forum and tried all different solutions that people had posted ….

turn off wifi

turn off this turn off that ….blah blah blah

but to no avail…. in-between time waiting 30 mins or so each time to see if it worked, alas this never resolved the issue… I must say this was two different windows computers using win 10 and 11 and both powerful enough to run software, I then decided to buy a Mac and try and see if that would work …. but guess what same issue….penny dropped problem with mixer…

contacted native instruments and after doing diagnostic test they realised there was a fault and told me to return mixer for repair/replacement , which I thought great!!! here is something I bought and finally I'm getting it fixed and being able to use it for more than 30mins(without crashing)at a time…. I was so wrong.

Yes I'll give credit native instruments got back to me quickly and a shipping label was created and I happily shipped off my S4 mk3 within 2 days …. for whatever reason the shipping company had it and the mixer circled the UK and came back to me 17 days later(shipping company issue I think - never had good explanation) anyway ,asked native instruments if they could send me a new sipping label after I explained what had happened and they said that they would ….great!!! I thought…….but here we are 8 days later and still no shipping label…. mixer in box no use to anyone….. and I've contacted them -

their answer is…. be patient (am I being unreasonable)

how long does it take to send a new shipping label out via e-mail….

Has anyone else had same issues dealing with native instruments please comment…

thanks for taking the time to read this article and I will update as soon as I get any further on with issue.
