Maybe I misunderstand something, but, why do you want to load Hive into Native Access or Kontakt then? Hive is not a Native Instruments plugin, so, it won't show in Native Access, which is just a product management and authorization tool from Native Instruments. And, Kontakt is a sampler, and loads Kontakt libraries. Komplete Kontrol is a plugin which hosts other plugins, and first and foremost is there for "NKS compatible" plugins, which make use of Komplete Kontrols parameter mapping and patch browsing abilities.

If you only want to play Hive, you can load it in your DAW. If you want to make use of Komplete Kontrol's parameter mapping and preset management for Hive, which is NKS compatible, then, sure, you can load it in Komplete Kontrol, but, it's not a necessity.

I am fully aware of what you have written. But controlling Hive via Komplete Kontrol S49 is a nice way to use the plugin.
