Issues with A49 and Reaper on Mac OS with the ReaKontrol script

I Have just purchased an A49 Controller keyboard and am having issues getting the transport buttons working on Reaper running on a 2022 Mac M1, (Latest OSX I presume) I definitely have the ReaKontrol script installed, and they Keyboard itself works when you have an instrument loaded. Its just the Transport functionality that's not working. The Controller works flawlessly on FL Studio and In Komplete Kontrol Stand alone on the same Machine. I have also tried the A49 with Reaper on a Windows 11 Laptop with the ReaKontrol Script also installed and it works flawlessly with that, so its something going on with Reaper and the Macbook in particular. Anyone have any Ideas? I've tried all sorts of things, including complete reinstalls of Native Access and Reaper on the Mac

Yeah any help would be very much appreciated. My A49 isn't working at all with reaper. Not midi to play instruments, and not for transport. Not with KK or Kontakt either (both as VST/AU inside reaper, or in standalone. Nothing). It appears to be recognized and enabled inside my reaper midi settings, and it DOES work when I'm using Maschine standalone just fine (so that seems to indicate my macbook recognizes it and has the ability to drive it…at least for Maschine standalone mode), but it doesn't work at all again when I use Maschine as a instrument inside reaper. This seems to be specifically a Reaper and standalone KK/Kontakt problem.

I've tried every troublshooting tip I could find online and still nothing. I'm at a loss, It was all working fine on my old windows system.

How did you get it to at least play your midi VSTi's in Reaper?
