Hello, good afternoon, I have a problem related to the XLR inputs and outputs, I have only been able to buy one speaker to connect through the male (both signals, left and right, added in the sum in the XLR) encoded, from the thomann website. To connect it to an XLR input of the DAS Altea 415 A speaker. Could there be a problem for the controller or the speaker?

Configure Traktor in the settings to output master signal as mono and connect only one XLR cable from your S4 to the speaker. No special cables needed.

Your speaker features 2 XLR inputs and would be able to mix both signals too.

The solution with the cable merging the signals could work but has it quirks. Levels add up and are possibly too high. That can lead to distorted audio and may can damage the speaker in the worst case. (But I expect protecting circuits in it.)

So I'm not going to use that cable, thank you.
Then I can connect input 1 left channel and input 2 right channel on the speaker or change the master to mono and just use a master output to a speaker input. This is what I understood and so there is no problem for the speaker.

Thank you very much for the prompt response, I greatly appreciate it.

    All the best

    Joan
