Jazz Amp chorus rate

The rate knob has no effect on the chorus in the Jazz Amp model in GR 7 (and in GR6 before that). It works as expected for the vibrato. Any plans to fix this?

FWIW, I love the Jazz Amp model. I've been playing through Roland Jazz Chorus amps my whole musical life (38 years).

Huh! I've owned a JC-55 and currently have a JC-40, and have played through JC-120s, JC-77s, and a JC-22. I thought they all had adjustable chorus rates and a "fixed" setting for the chorus. Apparently, the JC-120 only has the "fixed" setting. So, in effect (no pun intended), the Jazz Amp model gives an additional feature in that the chorus depth can be adjusted. Blimey!

Just confirmed same behavior in GR 5.

    Hello,

seems correct, as in the roland brochure they say "vibrato depth" and "vibrato rate" explicitly for the jc 120 for example.

Still would be nice to be able to adjust both… Thanks Uwe.

Yes absolutely more control is always a good thing, if depth really works (didn't tried that unfortunately) then its a bit strange in a way. But if it is modeled after the JC 120, depth is really easy to implement, but rate maybe not if the original does not have it - just a guess. Or maybe it's loosely modeled after all those models so not a clone -idk. You can also try to put a chorus before the amp but that's maybe not the same soundwise, but then you can have chorus and vibrato, and that can also be fun.
