Traktor won't open

Hi can someone help me

Myhard drive on my computer as packed up all of a sudden and I can't access my pc so iv got another pc to install th software on

I have the original disc and I installed the software on my new pc but it wont start up and im struggling to register it on the new pc how do I re register the software as my email as changed as well cheers mark

Hello,

you install native access, log into your account where traktor is already registered, then you are ready to install your products, you can't register a product twice. If you lost somehow access to your account you have to contact account support, they might be able to help you.

Thank you for the reply I can't as the other computers hard drive where the other copy was installed is damaged I'm trying to reinstall a fresh copy from the original disc I brought on a new pc plus my email is different then when first registered it

Iv managed to contact them though the support apparently my software disc is out of date and I need to buy another software traktor Pro which I find is a total rip off as this cost me best part of £200 in 2009 I only use the software for background music. But they said my operating system I have is not compatible which I find untrue as when I installed it it opened up saying iv got 30 days trial it was only when I tried to register it when he issue started. So I'm going down the virtual dj route from now on what a total money racket this company is.

Yeah the old traktor is not officially supported on windows 11, you could upgrade to pro 3 for 60 euros ( don't know how much in british pound) - but did they at least gave you back the access to your account?

I'm on windows 10 so I think there's not a problem like I said it played until I began to register it. No they would give me access to it they just wanted £147 to upgrade to traktor 3 Pro, total rip off

Then you maybe have a much older traktor version, there where some of them over the years, that's not compatible even with windows 10. But at least they could give you the account back, of course only if you at least know the old email but I don't know how they proceed if you lost access, I would ask specifically for that, like I said you can then upgrade much cheaper. You also have to consider 2009 is now a while back, and some software needs updates too and ppl make money with that, they make a living out of that, like you too with a profession I guess.

Your are probably right on what you are saying iv got to move on with the times as I only do it as an hobby for when we have friends around so very little use but a few years ago I used it most weeks as we had friends around every week for drinks and food and I had a laptop with a speaker and used to take it around with me to all the other friends when it was there turn once again thank you for your time much appreciated 😊

I'm pretty sure they will give you access to your account totally unrelated to what you have.

Don't ask them about traktor at all. That is not the issue. The issue is you can't access your old account.

What I don't understand is before my other pc packed in i updated it from Windows 8 to Windows 10 a free update from Microsoft it worked perfectly OK it was only when I tried to installed it onto another pc I started to have difficulty as far as native instruments are concerned its not supported anymore and I have to purchase another version at my expense they are not willing to help me any further which is very concerning to me its just purely a making money racket

Just to make sure we understand each other:

You installed native access, but can't log in with the account that has traktor 2, because you changed email?

I brought traktor 3 in 2009 in 2016 I had a corrupt file on my pc so i had to reinstall widows so I had to reinstall the software from my original trakor disc and when I filled everything in it would only give me a 30 date trial so I then rang native instruments up and spoke to someone who said it because your email had changed he then changed my email on there database and issued me with a 60 digit activation which then activated my software I sill have that code, but it doesn't work so I down loaded native access and messaged them as I have another email address thinking that this was the issue I'm having they changed my email again, but they are now saying that the software I have doesn't supported by Windows 10 very confusing

If so, which one?
