Traktor Scratch Pro 2 Demo mode?? Audio 8 with Traktor 3??

So I have been out of the game for a while.

I have fired TSP2 up following a roll back on my 2015 Mac book pro from Catalina to El Capitan. Previously the machine was on El Capitan. However after discovering that my Audio 8 and Kontrol X1 mk 1 was not supported, I decided to put it back to where it was at when everything worked. When I open up TSP2 now I am getting the option boxes Demo/Buy/activate. From what I can see here, through what I have researched is that I can upgrade to Traktor 3. My question is though will the Audio 8 still work? and the Kontrol X1 mk1 with Traktor 3? Never the less when I run it in demo, all of my play lists etc are there.

Im really kicking my self now for upgrading my mac to Catalina as everything used to work perfect with TSP2 before upgrading the Mac. I only really up graded the mac for work purposes.

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get it back to how it was? I know times have moved on in the world of Traktor and that we always have to move with the times.

Yes, Audio 8 and x1 mk1 should work with Traktor 8 as long as the OS supports it.

Another option:

Someone made a 3rd party app to get the x1 mk1 working on modern mac https://github.com/Opa-/x1-mk1-usb2midi

Then you would just need an interface, you can sometimes get the A6 for 50 bucks used.
