No sound on playback...

I am running macOS 12.7.4 I am trying the instrument sounds in Kontakt 7. I am using Garageband. It seems to be recording the sound samples .....but when I playback it back, there is no sound. If I move the recording to a non NI track it will playback but only in the Garageband-sound like classic piano for example. My daw that I am using is UAD Apollo Twin. I've just bought the K32 and downloaded all the free downloads that came with the purchase.

I know it is properly something simple but I just can't fine it on my own.

Did you setup sound settings properly in Kontakt stand-alone app ?

No , something like the Tab below that , you would want to use the same of your ASIO drivers for both Kontakt and for your DAW ! :

I don't have a ASIO driver…? only Core Audio

Oh , sorry , I am on Windows , and you are right , it appears as if Mac does not normally use ASIO. Then maybe you need to check if Core Audio is also used as driver in the GarageBand ? and Core Audio settings where you can combine multiple audio devices !

Else did you lower security first time you used the plugin ?

Also make sure that the standard give full disk access to ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon has been applied ! : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Otherwise if none of that helps then I think that we have to ask Jeremy_NI when he is back on Monday !

Massive X is a plug-in , perhaps what you need is to learn how to use your not specified DAW ? If you are indeed having a problem with Massive-X like e.g. 'voices' then check out page 38 in the manual.
