K7 Sample Search (ie. Database Search) workflow recommendations?
Hi there,
I appreciate I'm a bit late to this party, but I have searched for a few hours for solutions to this and really haven't found anything useful. Admin comments pointing to "this has been replaced by the Library tab" negate the fact that this does not serve USER created files. So, the question:
In Kontakt 7, how is everyone searching for their homebrewed samples? In previous versions I would simply type "GTR Harmonic" or "MegaTom" and the handy Database search would pool matching candidates instantly. With this option gone in 7, what is the workaround?
While it's clearly possible, if I memorise the file structure of my library, browse to that location, and manually add the instrument that way - it is not a replacement for a search function.
Fingers crossed for some tips.
