unable to read preset

Moved all Expansions from the Shared folder on my Macintosh HD to an external HD. Followed the instructions to correct the paths and all seemingly went well. Now MassiveX cannot read any preset in any of the expansions, it always says "unable to read preset". However if I drag the preset file to the MassiveX window, it does read it !? What is happening and what went wrong?

The same for Massive. Massive sees the expansion folders but when you click the open triangle nothing happens, the folder "seems" empty. Again if you drag a file to the massive window it works.

Thanks PoorFellow, I will certainly follow up on your suggestions. But I just went through the whole rigmarole of re-installing everything (103 Expansions) in de Shared folder, so for the time being I will just leave things as they are. When I have a little more time I will try your solution.
