Sustain pedal issues on Gentleman

Hi everyone

I just downloaded the demo version of the Gentleman which I like a lot, and I'm going to buy it. It sounds really close de my upright Kawai piano (K15E). Really realistic !

But here is the thing, on the demo version the sustain pedal is always on, no matter if I press it or not. I control the vst with a Kawai ES110 connected with midi through my audio interface.it's not the first time I'm using piano vst, and it always worked so far. The kawai have its own sustain pedal, but I even try another sustain pedal with different polarities, but it didn't change anything.

So I was wondering if someone can tell me if it's a part of the limitations of the demo version ?

There's also another weird thing happening. When i release the keys i'm playing the sound is playing a second time right after.
