KONTROL S2MK

I recently picked up a second hand Kontrol S2 MK1 from a garage sale, owner was unable to give me the license code that came with the unit.

Is there any way I can purchase a new code from Native Instruments? Also, I know the S2MK1 are quite old, would like to check here if they are still compatible with Traktor Pro 3 software. Would be running this on a MAC.

I attempted to get it up and running on the free DJ (Traktor DJ 2) software to test it and nothing.

If there are any other limitations etc that may come with this older unit, would be good if you could share them with me here and their workarounds if possible?

Yeah, you can just buy Traktor 3 Pro https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/traktor/dj-software/traktor-pro-3/

The mk1 is no longer supported on mac, but I have seen people say that it still works.

Traktor DJ 2 is dead and only ever supported a very small amount of controllers.
