No option to download to external drive

Invalid Path. Since January 2024, I have followed all steps, including Full Disk Access and reformatting all my external SSDs to the new mac format, and I STILL cannot download my NI products to any disk other than the Mac internal drive, which would be completely filled in no time. How can I download my recently acquired NI products to my new external SSD drives without getting this infernal Invalid Path error message? Thanks for you help. - Marc

Just click forth and back until you have answered the questions in a manner where you reach the describe problem gather information, which one line input will make up the opening of your ticket ! : N.I. Native Access and Installation Support .

After receiving email confirmation then please allow support up to a week to answer and if they do not respond within a week then politely update your ticket to let support know that you are still waiting for a response ! Also N.I. support do not work in the weekend !

Thanks for the help. I've done as you suggested and already received a reply, but it was only a link to the articles that I've already read and tried and that completely failed to fix the problem. I find it strange in today's world to see a company so user unfriendly, but their products are pretty cheap and not too bad, so I'll give them a week or so to fix the problem before I decide whether or not to continue with NI products.

Eh ! , please do not confuse so called auto-respond emails with an 'answer' from support, the auto responder that you have received is just that , and the help articles is references generated by a computer.

But always read such emails , if for nothing else then to see if it requires a response answer from you to keep ticket open or if it says that you will receive mail from support later. At N.I. I think that support will get back to you, but you can add to ticket in the mean time if necessary and also as written in my previous message then if support do not respond within a week then politely update your ticket to let support know that you are still waiting for a response !

As for a fix then also please understand that most support systems work procedural , meaning that support might drag you through all sorts of trouble shooting steps to try to clarify and narrow down issue , but that is how it is. Support does not have a crystal ball to magically see what is the problem. At best you can get an attentive and experienced supporter !
