Kontakt Too Old? - Stand-Alone Installer Please
Dear Native Instruments, (Since I can't find the "open a ticket" button anywhere.)
Why does my Session Guitarist Picked Acoustic library say my version of Kontakt 7 is too old to open it, yet when I open my Native Access (1), it says I am up to date? Is that a lie?
This is on Catalina. I have no need to update to Native Access 2.
May I please have a link to a stand-alone update for Kontakt 7 so I can use the library I PAID FOR and get back to work?
While you're at it, can I have a link to a stand-alone installer of those Collier voices, too? I signed up for it but it too is not appearing in NA1.
This used to work fine and then it broke with an update, yes?

As just_jump wrote then your OS (Catalina) is not compatible with the latest version of Kontakt 7 , so you either have to upgrade your OS or stick with libraries that can run using old Kontakt versions (a lot of new libraries require latest Kontakt 7)(e.g. 'Collier voices' require latest Kontakt 7 and Native Access 2 to even show as download !)
Always read 'System Requirements' prior to buying anything !
You may have to uninstall your present version of Session Guitarist Picked Acoustic prior to installing the old one found here : Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries / compatibility with K6 older libraries

lIf you are on macOS 10.15, you cannot install the latest Kontakt 7 (Player) since it's not compatible. Please install the previous versions of the affected libraries via https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/21349/previous-versions-of-recently-updated-kontakt-libraries-compatibility-with-k6-older-libraries/p1?new=1
At a glance I can’t tell anything has changed in the process to submit a ticket. Just got to support and click through the pages.

All I ever update is what it tells me to in Native Access. Why in the world would it go ahead and install an updated library that is incompatible with the OS and the version of Kontakt this is installed? Essentially, Native Access installed an update that broke my working system, correct? Give me a freaking break. How poorly coded is this installer that it doesn’t check for compatibility before going ahead and breaking my system? That’s unprofessional.
All I did is what it told me to do, and now it doesn’t work. That’s some first-class ******. What a disappointment Native Instruments has become. Their QC is in the toilet. This is unacceptable for a professional app.

You are not alone with that viewpoint , I have personally asked for the Native Access software to become more intelligent and stopped doing what you just referred to. (quote my post : "Also N.A. ought to be smarter at understanding user setup/environment and not install updates to libraries on setups with e.g. Kontakt versions not supporting the updates.") But I have no say and also then I am not a N.I. employee .
So all I can really do is to try to assist you mending things !

It's gobsmacking that I have to stop working to take time to fix their Kontakt software that their Native Access software broke. Talk about self-destructive behavior.
Can one of you share the link to the Open a Support Ticket page? I can't afford to spend any more time poking around their intentionally obfuscating website. They need to hear from me. I am a 35+ year veteran record producer & mixer. This is unprofessional.

Depending on what you think the issue is with (N.A. or K7) then either use this link N.I. Native Access and Installation Support or this link N.I. Kontakt Support . Then click the right choices until that you are let through to where it says gather information or describe issue. (you can use up arrows to the right to go back and change response 😉)
