Is anybody else having this nightmare??? I have been spending more time fighting with NI software bugs than making music. Now this. Kontakt 7 now tells me that I have to "activate" everytime I try to use it. Some of my libraries have suddenly DISAPPEARED. When I go to Native Access to fix it, the libraries that ARE there just show an EXCLAMATION MARK. But my account shows all my products are correctly registered!!!

I'm in the middle of a music project, and don't have time to wait days for NI Support! Can somebody help me?

    Yes , there are others that have had problems and surely wish that there were more or better advice to give but alas Moderators such as I neither have any say nor any influence and all I can do for you is to suggest that you check if it helps downgrading to NATIVE ACCESS 3.8.0 , I don't know if it will pose a problem if you do not uninstall old NA and NTKDaemon first (you might have to).

    If necessary then after uninstalling then use the the NI reg tool and remove anything Native Access and NTKDaemon (could also require that you clean drive from old installation files ?) and then make sure to grant N.A. all the access it wants on a re-install .

    Even if you do a successful re-install then that will not prevent N.A. from auto-upgrading again ! (yes , it's a bit crazy if you have a specific problem !) .

    P.S. you also could try resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access

    Also there has been a problem with some people getting some exclamation marks in interface when having show Legacy products turned on !

    Thank you, PoorFellow. You consistently do your best to help me. However, as you mentioned, there's not a lot you can do to resolve the ROOT of the problem. I guess I'm just really tired of guessing at solutions and poking around in the dark - hoping that something I do will work.

    Thank you again for trying.

    @ZoDMeister

    Probably not as tired as I am. I mean , all one can do is to make a best effort evaluation of the problem and then present people with a list of could maybe help things to check. Even in a case like when one finds out that something were messed up for some people then it still doesn't help that much since this is not a once size fits all kind of thing so even at the best of time all one can do is still a best effort evaluation of the problem. I have asked for the software to become more intelligent but I think that that it just me wishful thinking !
