Hey NI,

I have, for the moment, the Komplete 14 bundle.
I wish to know if the soft synths available in Komplete 14 will soon have midi 2.0 capability.
I am looking forward to this issue. Because of the bi-directionality.
I did buy the Korg keystage because it mention the midi 2.0 functionality.
I do not know if NI has a midi 2.0 keyboard controller.
I use most of the time Logic Pro x, but I notice that the Korg midi 2.0 only functions with Ableton! I am disappointed that it does not seems to work with other DAW's.
On all of your products I do not find midi 2.0 functionality mentioned.

thank you for this community.

    Hello,

and good question, I guess native will not share the roadmap on this. The new komplete MK3 keyboards are midi 2.0 ready, you can enable/disable it in the settings. And Cubase 13 is also midi 2.0 capable as far as I know, they list it as new feature but I haven't tried it so far cause I haven't updated yet to 13.

I bought the Keystage too - but after trying it with Logic 11 and Cubase and a few other DAWs it seems things just aren't ready yet to keep it - plus - the Keystage lacks infinite rotary encoders - something one really expects on a MIDI 2.0 based device. It means of Course that there's a jump between displayed parameter on the OLED screen and actual current position as indicated on the ( potentiometer ) knob itself. there are "catch up" algorithms one can use - and are typically supported. like by Ableton etc. but it appears KORG has not done anything like that on their board, So with all this I returned my -otherwise fine - KORG Keystage.

NO MIDI CI supporting MIDI 2.0 keyboard with knobs n dispklays - should be using limited-travel potentiometer based encoders in this time….
