2 enerving things ( pattern/clip) (recording window)

Hey ,

im enerved by 2 things in my workflow that came up with recent and not so recent updates .

1) im a pattern guy , the clipmode is not for me . Often -when i try to duplicate scenes for example - maschine switches from pattern into clip mode by itsself and i have to undo to proceed . How can i prevent that or is there a setting to tell maschine not to do that ?

2) When i edit a sample and f.e. duplicate it to the next pad maschine will switch to f.e. pad 14 and open a recording option window there. I dont want that as well. Where do i disable that ?
