Izotope Trash feedback or long release bug?

Just purchased and downloaded the new version of Trash. Whenever I place it on a track, it makes the sound for that track either feedback or play with an extremely long release on each note. Even if I turn the plugin off, it still has this effect on the sound. Only once I remove Trash from the fx plugin strip does the sound playback normally. Anyone else experience this or know of a fix? Thanks.

It seemingly has fixed itself on its own. Not seeing a way to delete this post or I would!
