Using Aux EFX in Group Mixer Mode

The aux send efx only works when the Sound mixer view is used to adjust levels (for example, to reduce the audio signal to zero and have the delay efx continue to trail). For those who use the Group view to add instruments (so that there is more freedom of pattern length, etc) and use the Group Mixer view to adjust levels (so that more than one group track at a time can be adjusted), it does not work. Turning down the levels to zero in Group view still allows for a signal to go through. This is a real issue IMO. Luckily, I do ambient and only use a few group tracks per song so adding a delay and reverb on each group/instrument doesn't kill the CPU but still, for other reasons...any workarounds/settings Im not thinking about?

I could set up a Master Macro page controlling the sound channel levels for each group. This could be great live - setting up each page to control an individual parameter for each group i.e. filter page (all filters of each synth per group), levels page, etc. Any other suggestions?

Correction: "For those who use the Group view to add instruments (so that there is more freedom of pattern length, etc)". I meant to say use one sound per group.

I probably know where you set up things wrongly.

In the Group where you loaded a single instrument in a single sound slot you set up the Aux at the sound level. If you set it up at the group level, using Group faders will not let any signal go through.

It’s either that or you changed the Aux order from Post fader to Pre fader
